The Seer Quartet are third year undergraduate scholars from the Royal Academy of Music. They have taken part in a range of masterclasses and coaching sessions by musicians such as The Doric String Quartet, Jo Cole and Toke Møldrup (Piazo String Quartet).

About the Event

The Seer Quartet is formed of third year undergraduate scholars at The Royal Academy of Music. They have taken part in a range of masterclasses and coaching sessions by musicians such as The Doric String Quartet, Jo Cole and Toke Møldrup (Piazo String Quartet).

Due to their progress, The Academy has allocated The Seer Quartet a mentor (Ying Xue) from The Doric String Quartet. The Seer Quartet has also taken part in outreach programmes, as well as numerous concerts, and they will be touring Scotland later in the year. Their programme will include works by Elgar (Nimrod), Haydn, Beethoven and Dvorak’s American Quartet.

 

Admission on the door (please bring the correct amount): £10 adults / £5 students / Free for children

The concert will be approximately one hour in length and there will be no refreshments. In order to minimise the risk to everyone attending, please note the following:

  • There will be no printed programme
  • Your seat willl be allocated in advance
  • A mask must be worn at all times (other than exceptions)
  • Please try not to arrive more than 20 minutes before the start of the concert
