About the Event

Admission to this concert will be £15 (children admitted free of charge).

Tickets can be purchased in advance from: We Got Tickets

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PARKING:

There is a car park at the venue on Church Lane and we usually use Waitrose as an overflow carpark. However, as it is a Sunday evening, the store will be closed. The Waitrose car park is managed by a private company but we can make use of their facilities if we let them have CAR REGISTRATION NUMBERS IN ADVANCE.

As an alternative, we have been granted permission by the MORMON CHURCH on Greenways (just round the corner) to use their car park at the back of the church. There is ample parking here and people can park on the grass if necessary.

The King’s Men is the close-harmony group formed from the Choral Scholars of the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge. As Choral Scholars, they follow the daily routine of Chapel services throughout term, as well as undertaking a busy concert and recording schedule in the vacations.

The Choir is, of course, most famous for the broadcast of A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on radio each Christmas, and its companion programme, Carols from King’s, on BBC television.

The King’s Men, however, functions separately from the main Choir, and is run by the current members of the group. It performs regularly around Britain, and has performed as far afield as North America, Australia and China.
