About the Event

Songs and dances of Latin America and the Caribbean; of parting and protest, of unity, survival and celebration. A musical celebration of how the traditions of Africa and Europe have come together, collided, embraced and created in the New World. From the folkloric roots to the exciting classical music that comes from the cultural crucible of Latin America and the Caribbean. Celebrating the roots and branches of Trinidadian calypso, Jamaican mentos, Brazilian sambas and some of the finest Cuban songs.

 

Admission on the door: £10 adults / £5 students / Free for children
