About the Event
Gerard Carey is currently treading the boards in Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre playing the part of Monsieur Thénardier. Gerard trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. From Shakespeare to Mary Poppins, he has appeared in numerous productions and his television credits include Love Soup and Torchwood. He appeared in Norwich's Theatre Royal as Lord Farquaad in the 2015 UK Tour of Shrek the Musical - a role which required him to perform the entire show in a specially made suit on his knees!
David George Harrington is a talented and versatile composer and pianist based in Cardiff. David also works as musical director to a variety of music ensembles as well as MD to a host of theatre productions and entertainment shows from Music Conservatoire events to external music and theatre companies. He has collaborated with musicians from across much of the UK including members of the LSO and the Orchestra of WNO. David has had arrangements performed on BBC Radio 2 (Chris Evans and Terry Wogan), BBC2, BBC4 and a broadcast on ITV’s boxing day Christmas special (2014).
