About the Event

Aeolus Winds comprises Anna Hopkins – flute, Christine Godfrey – oboe,  Jennifer Cochrane – clarinet, John Mason – bassoon and Andrew Thompson –  French horn.

The ensemble is developing new repertoire all the time and first  showcased some of this in October 2021 in the beautiful historic church  and rich acoustic of St Michael and All Angels, Barton Turf, Norfolk.  2022 saw performances in Norwich and in Burnham Market; 2023 saw performances in Norwich (St Peter Mancroft and St Mary Madgalene) and in Aylsham.

The Quintet will perform works by Poulenc, Danzi, Farkas (17th century Hungarian dances), Nino Rota and Sir Malcolm Arnold (Three Shanties). Admission to this concert is £15 for adults, £7.50 for students and children admitted free of charge.
