IMPORTANT UPDATE
Please note that this concert will now be given by harpist Xenia Horne with guest appearance by flaustist Lucy Marks. The programme will include works by Vivaldi, Prokofiev, William Croft, Krumpholz, Debussy and Vaughan Williams. We are very grateful to Xenia for stepping in at short notice.
The Adie Oboe and Harp Duo was formed in 2005 when sisters Harriet and Caroline discovered the wealth of music that suited their two instruments. Shortly afterwards, the sisters (both award winners in their own right) performed for Music Societies across the country under the Countess of Munster Recital Scheme.
In recent years they have given recitals in venues across London, including a concert attended by the Lord Mayor of London and performances at Southwark Cathedral, St James’ Piccadilly, the Guildhall and Lauderdale House.
Programme to include:
Granados – Spanish Dance no 5
Pasculli – Omaggio a Bellini for Cor Anglais
Bochsa – Nocturne Op. 50 no 3
and works by Debussy, Fauré and Piazzolla
