The Cavick Quartet was formed by leading string players in Norfolk in 2009 with a shared passion for chamber music and the realisation that performance was an essential part of their enjoyment.
The starting point was a performance of the Trout Quintet by Schubert in aid of the Big C at The Chapel in Park Lane. They now perform regularly in Norfolk – very frequently to raise money for good causes.
Recent concerts include Haydn Op 54 no 1 and Beethoven Op 18 no 3 at Wymondham Arts Centre, Haydn's Seven Last Words at St Peter Mancroft with Rev Canon Peter Nokes and Handel's Dixit Dominus with the Tallis Chamber Choir in Wymondham Abbey.
